*~ Trip Report!! Feb 23 - 27 *~ OMG THIS IS A *LONGY* !!! :) :) :)

Great report. We also overlapped a couple of days. It has only been a little less than a month since we were there but seems like an eternity ago. We met Roxie on the Boobs Cruise and she was great, as were your other friends we met later: Nimrod (Jeff), Roger, Mary and so many others. Hope to be able to do it again next year.

 

Love the long detailed trip reports, makes me feel like I'm there already.

 

By the way what was the horror story with the whirlpool tub??

OOOHHH I'm so glad everyone is enjoyin' my crazy ass style of 'trip reporting 101' ! Makes me SOOOO happy! (Obviously you see I'm a GREAT BIG BUNDLE OF ENERGY .. HA HA)

It means the world to me that I've *gotten my thoughts* across that some of my friends here are reading it NOT ONLY 1x but 2x! WOWZER! YIPPEEE!

Chasracer - I'm sure I met you! And what a fun group were you with - Kevin, Maya, Ken, Darcy - those people were A-One TOP NOTCH nice people to meet ! Only regret I have is that we didnt get to hang with them that much and then they were gone ... maybe next time!!!

Candiegirl - would *LOVE* to go in May ! Not sure we can though cuz we still have a 11 and 14 year old and we take trips with them too -- so we kinda cut the 'mom and daddy' time trips to 1x a year!!! But we'll see! Maybe a package will come along we can't resist! OH YIPPEE!

LAIDBACKLENNY -- *OMG* yes you met Roxie too !? Absolutely adorable isnt she ? I miss her ... And you said "Jeff" (Nimrod) - I wonder if we are talking about the same "Jeff" ?!?!? He was tall and had like blondish hair / beard / mustache I think ... he was a 'mayor' actually (I think ???) - he was an absolute DOLL AND A HALF! And Roger and Mary ?! They ROCKED! LOVE THEM! So you must have met ROB then too ? He was such a fun guy! Oooh the memories of such wonderful friends!!

DON AND DORL: *OMG* - did I *REALLY* leave the HOT TUB / WHIRPOOL TUB story OUT of the report ?!? That's it - my trip reporting days are over ... HA HA! Ok - here it goes - and believe me - ITS GROSS! ...

So .... we goes to sit in the whirlpool tub and relax one evening (now keep in mind - this is the whirlpool tub in the suite which is in the bathrooom - "NOT" the deck / hot tubs that are offered with the drops of love package) --

So -- the DRAIN was like totally 'not' working -- (wouldnt stay closed) - so the hubster stuffed a rag down the drain so it would fill up! So here we were *happily soaking away .....* and then all of a sudden in midst of our relaxation bliss .... I started seeing icky / brown / black / floaty 'thingys' all over and I'm like, "OMG BOB! JUMP OUT NOW! Dont know WHATs in here but IT AINT GOOD!" .....

Pulled the rag outta the drain and it was literrally *BLACK* and *BROWN* loaded with *sewage gunk* of an unimagineable nature ..... - and again - I'm sorry to be so graphic and gross - but *OMG* I told Bob we have to SCRUB LIKE RIGHT NOW so we dont end up getting sick or poisoned or something - so yeah that quickly ended us *enjoying* the whirlpool tub !!! *Maybe next time*

 

WE had the same rooms a couple of times. the ONE time that jamie tried to take a bath, after she had filled the tub i looked into it and the water had a light green tint!!!!!:icon_eek::icon_eek:

I was wondering about the whirlpool tub issue. I think someone else had a trip report with that problem too. Yuck! I've never gotten a jacuzzi room or whirlpool tub. I'm kinda funny about that though, you know if those jets are not cleaned right you can get some really bad stuff. Just cleaning out the tub doesn't get it, you have to clean within the jets too. But again your trip report was great!

 

Thanks Indygirl! And yes - I have to agree with you - there can be some very bad BAD sicknesses you can pick up if the ENTIRE THING isnt cleaned right - and I dont believe they are by a LONG shot .... Sigh ...
