Thanks for posting your TR. Sounds to me that the more CCC members book Gov the funner the place becomes. Who knew?
We were there 2/11-2/16. Our check in was not so lucky, there was a group of about 6 women in front of us that was complaining and making a huge production trying to get the safe and wifi for free. We waited behind them for an hour and 40 minutes! We were very polite and patient though, and the front desk gave us a free upgrade (worth 131 USD a night!) from flirt to their most expensive room, sian kaan (sp). We were told it had a private Jacuzzi but just our luck, we had the last room at the end of the building and it was the only one of those upgraded rooms without the jacuzzi! We did have some issues with our toilet not flushing and the shower water flooded the bathroom because there is no seal along the shower wall, but nothing too serious. For the most part we laid low and kept to ourselves. We went on the captain hook steak/lobster dinner cruise Friday night and I learned that I cannot drink like a pirate anymore. I haven't puked like that since college lol. We had a great time and are already talking about going back!
lol, I hear ya, can't bounce back either like I used to! We were there the same time, and we said we're going back too!!
Glad you had a great time but sorry we didn't get the chance to meet ya'll!! We are definitely going back also, probably Oct.
