may i suggest mecca, saudia arabia? just kidding with you - you know me i can't resist i understand what you are sayiing...... i have heard (but certainly do not know this as a fact) that several travel agents try hard to get single guys to go to Temptation under the guise that there are tons of wild loose women ready to bang thier brains out 24/7 and if this is the case it might make it a little bit more clear to understand why these "run ins" with the vast heards of roving single males seem to happen i can honestly say we have never witnessed this on any of our trips to mexico - in fact all of our "run ins" have always been with married men who want to try and scam on the innocent virgin t rob

This last week of work cannot go by fast enough. We are so looking forward to this trip. Looking forward to meeting everyone in the pool with Drinks in hand . We Land Dec 29th @ 4:10. Drinks soon to follow. One question. Found out friends of ours have decided to Drive to Cancun. Anyone have any helpful tips or words of caution that need to be passed on. Besides the obvious WTF? Since they obviously are insane and like excitement...tell them to stop in a nice little border town called Juarez for some souveneirs. Apparently they have run out of policemen but they should have plenty of other things to sell them.
I am questioning their sanity. I hope they do not stop for at least 12 hours after crossing the boarder.
Jenessa and I we not subject to spiked drinks but on the girl in our group was. She had 2 drinks that night and barely made to her room with her husband. She then slept all night and into the next day. There was large groups of single guys there in late September. They asked Jenessa if she would come dance for them in their room, then asked again, and again. It was a little to much to deal with. The sigles traveling alone (the cancun care ones) were great. TTR needs to take a look at the large groups of single males that look at this place like a buffett and maybe limit it or stop it
My husband and I just returned from a fun filled week at TTR. We didnt experience any of what is being said here. We were at the bar every night and enjoyed ourselves. The drinks didnt seem watered down and were at times too strong. Just like at home, there were single guys lerking. Just like at home, there were dangers. Just like at home, we partied with caution. We used our covered cups and we hung with the CC members, (look for the orange bands). I was asked by other men to dance but declined and danced with my husband and CC friends only. Keep your head on and all should be ok. Go and enjoy yourselves as we did. We have every intention of going back next year.
Please be aware that you should never feel uncomfortable while you are at Temptations. First Security is always just around the corner. Second, if anyone ever hassles you the front desk manager is just inside the doors to the lobby. Aurelio doesn’t put up with shit from anyone. He may only stand about 5 foot nothing but he takes command wherever he goes. If you’re at PattyO’s and you feel things are getting sketchy just head in and ask him for assistance. If you see something that is not right, let them know. They will address it. Also always remember that in any fight, no matter who starts it, everyone goes out the door. So as much as “that boy needs an ass whoppin’” contact the hotel management and let them take care of it. During the day your easiest contact is the Entertainment Staff and at night the Front Desk Manager. All that being said, there was one year where this one guy just royally pissed me off to the point that, as he was sitting on the side of the pool, I went to everyone else in the pool and loudly warned them what a sleaze bag he was and to watch out for him. Several of the guys offered to whip his ass, since they were leaving in the morning anyway. I told them we didn’t need to get violent to make him feel unwanted. Turned out he got the message, went to his room and packed and called security to escort him out the door as protection for him. Another way to solve the problem is to come party with us in May. We CC’rs outnumber everyone else so we end up being the 500 pound gorillia in the corner that everyone keeps an eye on. The folks in April kind of do the same thing. So West Texas come on back in May and we’ll make it up for ya! Jamie
