We will drink with you. 1st - 6th for us. Looking forward to some time in the sexy pool with you two.
Good point about the "party groups" really changing the vibe of the resort. Seems like none of the women in these groups take off their tops (So WHY are you at a topless optional resort?????) , and few of the singles were mingling outside of their own groups when we were there in July. They kinda took over real-estate at the swim-up bar and sat there being decorative and (I felt) judgy. Just like the renovations to the resort, they were pretty to look at, but didn't add any value to the party. If we hadn't been meeting up with a large posse of repeaters, I think we'd have been a little lost as an older (50s) couple.
This was our exact experience in July. The party groups are taking over and the couples are beginning to be out numbered. The raunchy rap music and constant twerking is a huge turn off. They seem to want the Vegas/South Beach crowd there for the one and done spend all their money types. I have never seen so many people buying bottles of liquor in an all inclusive resort. The sexiness and romantic feel of the resort is dwindling down and turning raunchy. You can't have a romantic meal any longer because the "must be seen and must be heard" crowd take over the restaurants and you can't have an intimate conversation with your significant other.
