Just did a week by week search on orbitz of the two resorts. As the weeks go on past March 1 the rates come down, faster at GOV than TTR. Late April thru May the rate at GOV is $139, very aggressive pricing for what's included for sure. We just cant make it that time of year.. were still very Happy with our package deal and savings over TTR for our prime time winter get away from this cold northern climate. Plus there is a cost to canceling airfare and re booking. This is the least we have paid for a vacation in past 4 years... woooohooooooo !
We are at TTR at the same time and we want to check out GOV also. It could be fun if we took a whole group over. :lotsofmichaelfs:
I've been looking at GOV as well, but at the moment there are no packages being offered directly out of Victoria, so until there is GOV is not really an option...which to be honest we're okay with that. We love TTR. D
For us without airline miles packages some times work, not always. We always explore both. Now onto the good news. It looks like the better half will be healed up from her surgeries to travel in March around the 5th. 8 days for both of us for less than $2400 (US dollars, all costs included) at GOV. She welcomes the change from TTR and the GP. This might be a happy middle ground. We have went on the cruises from the GP, so we do not see that as a problem.
