Just an FYI from a lesson learned last year. If you book through a travel company other that direct with the hotel, you should confirm directly with the hotel that they have your reservation. We showed up to Hedo with a reservation (confirmation # and everything) made with AMEX travel who use Orbitz/Expedia to book their rooms, and they did not have us booked...Orbitz/Expedia screwed up! It created a HUGE amount of stress and pretty much ruined half of our vacation. We managed to get a room for 2 days at Hedo before being moved to Sandals next door for the remainder, but man what a shitty experience. I now ALWAYS call the hotel directly to make sure they have our reservation.

Hey, we got fucked by Orbitz as well! So here's a better pro tip for you to avoid all the bullshit from now on. Do your regular shopping online and then take the best deal you can find and call the airline / hotel and book directly asking them to match the offer. It does not always work but it's the only way we travel since that day.
