Thanks for the good ideas! You're a good web surfer! I think I'll play it safe and get myself a hunka hunka coal (not a hunka hunka burning coal though--cause that would hurt the ozone--global warming ya know!)

Yeah, yeah, those midwestern states can blur together for those who live elsewhere!

Now, I can get away with saying that because I grew up in the Midwest!

I scored the piece of coal! I have a friend who lives in Colstrip, MT. Guess what its main industry is? She's sending me a lump of coal and I owe her lunch in the near future.

Hey, that's a fair trade wouldn't you say?

Only 2 items left to be announced!

One more today at 5:10 and the last item will be announced Monday morning (Memorial Day) at 7:10 am.

Tues-Friday will have one tie-breaker item announced each day. These are going to be really tough and will only help someone if they are in a tie at the end of the contest.

I think you are thinking about NormsKid (Michelle) being from Chicago. Easy to do since they are both attorneys.

Sparky & Katie are also from Chicago. And I think LindaT lives around that area (Rockford, if I recall correctly). But I think that I read that Katie is training somewhere away from home and I don't see Sparky or LindaT posting much these days.

    Can it be ordered online?

My dad worked underground in the coal mines for 37 years.. He got hurt on what they call "The Rib", and it set up a complete body infection.. He slowly went down hill from 1993 until he passed away October 2002.

I have all the respect in the world for coal miners.. They have one hard, dangerous job...

    Ok, enough of that...

Now, any new updates on next item or items?
