Thanks Carole and Gonzo! I never dreamed it would be this difficult to find a lousy dollar! This morning's item is a "Teen Talk Barbie" from 1991. That shouldn't be too hard to find!

Last night it was a 1984 penny. I found it within 5 minutes.

    FOUND IT!!

The 1067 dollar bill has been found!

My friends at US BANK who have looked through thousands of dollars since Monday have located the elusive 1067! They are now enjoying complimentary coffee drinks of their choice for their hard work.

    Whoo Hoo!

Thanks to all of you who have looked! There are still 35 items to be announced between now and June 9th, so there's bound to be something as challenging as the dollar between now and then! I need your help, so please stay tuned!

Funny thing about that dollar they found, it's so worn out that it's even taped together. It was headed to the "mutilated" pile until the teller noticed the number. I guess there's a little more life left in that Georgie after all!

Dawn & Glen, your shot glasses are on the way!

I suggest you get on ebay to find some of those items!!!!!!

You can probably get them for dirt cheap. I know you can find something with Alf.

    Good Luck!!!!

All the items yesterday and today were easy finds. One item yesterday was a frozen pizza. Another was the kids book "Light in the Attic" by Shel Silverstein.

We're up to item 74 now and I've got them all (or at least on their way!) (Thanks again to Glen and Dawn)

And yes, I was already an eBay maniac long before this treasure hunt began. You'd not believe some of the stuff I've bought on there--an Escalade truck, 2 three foot Hummels (I didn't even own a Hummel before those auctions). Crazy, crazy stuff. Why? I think it's just the competition, not the actual stuff.

I think I should start a 12 step program for eBay addicts, except I know I could stop bidding anytime I want!

Well, the shipment from Glen and Dawn has arrived! Thanks so much! We're up to item 76 and it's an easy, local item. I'm expecting some really tough ones between now the end of the contest. There are a total of 106 items, plus 4 tie breaker items.

I met some of my competitors on Saturday and they look as obsessed as I am. Are they as resourceful?

We'll find out on June 9th when we bring everything in for the finale!

    Hey treasure hunters!

You would not believe how competitive this treasure hunt is becoming! We're up to item #83. People are getting desperate if they miss hearing a clue on the radio. If you don't hear it when announced, you're SOL, unless you can convince someone to tell you!

Yesterday I needed to get a picture of myself with a hamster. Yeah, I'll do almost anything for $5,000!

    We've also had to get:

a high school sports event program from 2003

a MontanaFair item from 1998 with logo

    a "support our troops" ribbon

They think they can outfox me but they won't. I've got them all!

Egads, some tough items to find yesterday and this morning!

This morning's item is a concert ticket or stub from any concert between 1987-1992! Uggh. Well, folks, I'm going diving in memory lane boxes to see what I've got. I think I saw a Stevie Ray Vaughan concert in that time span. I also remember a Tom Petty Concert the same year. Did I save those stubs? Did I?

Do you know how hard it is to find a ticket stub in my "filing system"?

Yesterday's item was a camping envelope from a state park campground.

Only 20 items to go! Plus the tie-breaker items!

I'm going to be a nervous wreck by June 4.

I should have a Grateful Dead concert stub from 1992.
PM if needed and I can n send. Would only want stub mailed back at some point in the future.
