Does each traveling party need to get and complete the ArriveCa app info, or can one person of the pair do it for both? Thanks!
That's a great question, I travelled on my own to Vegas last month and the app does ask if anyone else is travelling with you and you can add them to the app, so I would say you would just need one if the two of you were travelling from the same household.
I completed it for the both of us. We are married and live at the same address. I uploaded both of our info into the app and received one reference/confirmation code
We’re unfortunately going to cancel until the rules change. We can’t afford to accidentally test positive while we are down there. Also we have a child at home we can’t leave if we do test positive. Seems ridiculous we can’t fly as fully vaccinated without needing a test. I’ll wait until Oct 31 to make my decision.
We would love to go back cant beat that party but not going to bother untill we dont need to get tested to get home,,, (.Y.)
Decided to roll the dice and go in November. We're both double vaccinated (probably triple by the time we leave) so we figure our likely worst case is being stuck in Cancun for a couple extra weeks
We're still studying all aspects of insurances but looks like we'll be jumping in too end of November. We miss it so much! Can't wait to party with everyone
We booked for January just lastnight. I just downloaded the Arrive Can APP ( thanks for that by the way I didn't know) and believe if I read correctly I don't need to show a NEG covid test travelling out of Toronto but do 3 days before returning home. I'm sure by January we will be tripled Vax at this point....
That's our only concern too. If it helps, Manulife's been running a special Covid-19 insurance premium for the past year that'll cover any hospital, accommodation, and post-recovery flights: CoverMe® travel insurance for travelling Canadians | Manulife Kids and other responsibilities not included, but it'll at least keep some money in your pocket.
