Last October, one of our toys arrived to Cancun with worn marks all over it. We figure a game of toss in the back room ended on a conveyer belt. Had to throw it away.
We’ve been searched on 2 of our trips to Desire. First time the lady agent called in a male agent to dig deeper. I think they had a good time checking out our collection.
Honest question, why not just put the toys into your checked luggage? Wouldn’t it be all good in there?
The toys are in the checked luggage. When you get the red light in customs they take you and your bags over to the table to be searched. The wife and I play hot potato with the bag containing the toys on who gets to drag it through. I usually lose.
I bought a wooden "dick" sculpture in the DR that customs /security pulled out, (still in it's blue plastic store bag) She man-handled it and smiled sheepishly at me and tucked it back into my carry on. She presumed it was a dildo I'm thinking and thankfully didn't open the bag as it's illegal to export wood out of the DR. As for real toys, I pack them in my checked baggage and have never had them "revealed", thankfully.
Last trip in November they searched everyone’s bag, no red light was used. They pulled out vibrators, lingerie, pasties, wings, all sorts of good stuff. It was highly embarrassing because there was a family of 6 next to us with several teenagers. We embraced it and had a good laugh....afterwards.
