i used them one year in walmart........they gave me such a hassle it was ridiculous, so i refuse to use them again
With travelers checks, its a pain in the ass to make purchases. The best thing to do is take it down to a exchange shop or a bank and exchange it into pesos or dollars before going to the vendors to make purchases
Yeah think i'll stick with the cash option then and keep it locked up in the safe. no way im gonna use a cash point out there cus that will cost me loads! How much do you think you need for two weeks? Was thinking about taking $1000 or so, taking into account its all inclusive we'll just get smashed there before we go out! 8 days to go!!!!!
Takent around about 2000 dollars myself all cash. never used travellers cheques to be fair. atm would be good but im with halifax and they have the percentage charge that Riki speaks of.
1000usd and my card. Although I likely wont spend over 500 since clubs are free almost the entire trip. Food is ok at the oasis but i will eat out a few nights. Plenty of money..............just need to get there damnit!!!!
