What do you guys think of bringing travelers checks to Cancun? Is it worth it? Or is it better to just bring US dollars?
Do many people actually accept travellers cheques cus surely your gonna use most of ur money in bars?! We're staying all inclusive, don't know if you are so what would you recommend?
Well u change them up to cash. Its cash basically just the benifit if they get lost/stolen u get em back and as they dont cost any extra i recomend them
Well I guess for safetly concerns they would be better ie. if they get stolen. But I would find that cash is your best bet. You could always plsit it down the middle and bring some of each. But I think cash is more accessible
ya, I have seen places in cancun that wouldnt except travelers checks! I am guessing because its a hassel for them! Thats why I stopped bringing them. All cash for me but I use my safe in the room and only take out what I need.
Change the travel checks at your reception or the change places all round cancun. I wouldnt take $1600+ in all cash, no chance
ya those work most the time. Just too much of a hassel for me, BUT, works for some people! Saves ur ass if they get stolen!
