I was there for a layover March 7th for 6 hours (flight got delayed). I spent over $200.00 usd on alcohol alone. There is alot of bars to choose from and alot of places to eat. I dont remember much of the airport though I was just stupid drunkrangehat:
Just got back Just got back, No one spoke english, but the few words we know (cerveza, gracias) got us thru fine. Had a five hour layover on the trip to Cancun and loved it, tons of places to eat, drank at all the bars, everywhere we went for just a beer we also got complimentary bread, chips, salsa, popcorn etc... Loved it, and wouldn't mind doing a layover there again. Made the flight extra fun to Cancun too being drunk. Also, it was nice not to have to go thru any real security in Cancun cuz we already did it in Mex. City.
