jumbo tours has anyone used jumbo tours, my travel agent reccomended them for 40 us dollar round trip shuttle.
Thought we had been everywhere on CC but must have missed this. We like private too and were going to wing it for a taxi. USA looks very reputable. Can we request driver, and if so, any recommendations? We like drivers with a great sense of humor and a good knowledge of their culture.
We have booked USA Transfers with Steven. After long journey and 3 connecting flights we just want to get straight to the resort in the shortest possible time. Check in, shower, food and... party time! (maybe a little nap somewhere in between? lol) Haven't used it yet, so can't comment on the service quality but it sounds good and the price is right too.
You can not get a taxi from the arrival side of the airport unless things have changed. They are not allowed to to be there. If you want a taxi you have to go to the departure side and catch one that is dropping people off to go home. You are much better off to arrange transfers before you arrive or you might have to get one of the transfers from the airport that are definitely gonna cost more and not so convient or somfortable. Much better off to arrange things beforehand and not have to worry.
Pretty sure there were people as we were walking out (Past all the rental stands) asking if we needed a taxi...
They might call it a taxi, but believe me it won't be.. They will call it anything that they think might get your interest. We've done it all. Ask Steve. We've done the private transfers with the package, the booking with private transfer and the trying to get a ride from the airport. You are way better off having something arranged ahead of time. You don't want to spend ur first half hour in paradise having to worry about how your gonna get to your resort. And then another 30-60 minutes actually geting there.
Oh yeah definitely... We used a transfer with our package from cheapcarribean and will do the same thing again because it really made things easy.
I just booked USA Transfers for the first time. Print off order summary shows Entertainment Plus and says nothing about USA Transfers. Is this correct?
Yes it is, Entertainment Plus is the whole company and website, USA Transfers is the transfers division. When you get your confirmation it will say USA Transfers on it.
And another thing I love about USA Transfers is not having to pay them a dime until they actually drop you off at your hotel. :icon_smile:
