Smart. The roads and airport in Cancun are crazy. Plan on mayhem and give yourself plenty of time to get around. And yes, plenty of drinks at the airport to kill some time and brain cells. :ernaehrung015:
We had a pickup one time and asked why we were not taking the back way. Our driver let us know that other USA drivers had tipped him off to a traffic jam so he was taking the hotel route. We had no trouble and arrived in 20-30 minutes like normal. They do try to avoid problems at all costs.
Thanks for posting, this is good info. We have fudged our flight time in the past to squeeze out an extra hour at TTR before pick-up, a roll of the dice move we won't be doing again.
