BTW, I had some serious backups this year for my rendition of Dobie Gray's Drift Away. I had "Coach" from Alabama (he was the guy that sang Lady In Red to his wife both last year and this year) and another guy from our group, Caleb, who has been a professional country singer singing backup harmonies on the chorus for me. Sounded amazing!

Actually, this year's Karaoke/TTR Idol field was fantastic. Caleb, our guy, won it - I can't remember what he sang though, and there were several other amazing singers too. We sure could have used Alisa's pipes there though!

 

Too many singles. Tons pouring in as we waited to leave aug 2.

 

Funny we must be lucky we have been there 9 times and haven't had a problem? Maybe it's the months we have gone June and Sept? I just don't ever seeing them going to couples only. I really hope they don't, we have met to many great single guys and girls. I guess they just need to really keep security on the large group of guys?

We found June had it's share of rogue singles that behaved rudely.

Got us talking about other resorts to try. Probably won't but it's a problem that needs attention.
Not sure what the solution is though.

I hate to exclude "all singles" because "all" is not the problem, but "some" are the problem. I think it's going to end up a security issue. They will need to be a bigger a visual presence at PatyO's and not just hide in the bushes.
They will need to be more accessible / approachable so the majority of the resort will feel ok about reporting problems.

The second they beef up the security then everyone (rightfully) gets pissy about them lowering the fun factor dramatically for those who are behaving. I don't want to go to some resort with 5 guys in uniform surrounding the dance floor like a train station in Prague. That doesn't make anyone feel more secure, it makes them think "what the hell goes on here that all this security is needed"??

The answer is fairly obvious but there are some singles on here who would be excluded and that sucks. But what sucks more is having a bad experience on what is intended to be a wild ass vacation because of people who probably shouldn't be allowed in the resort to begin with.

 

I also recommend the private Boobs Cruise...we have done 2 so far with private groups and everyone loved it!

 

I understand what you're saying but of the 2 evils I'll take an extra guy (a bouncer type) or 2 watching out for people (single or couples) annoying guests by unwanted touch or unwanted attention.
Where we live there are bouncers in every club and they do their job without affecting the "vibe" of the club. These guys should be hired to keep guests safe from predators not to "police" people having a good time.
Bottom line if you and I can stand at PadyO's and pick out the problem people, a couple of bouncer types should be able to also.

Not that I am a single male, but there are plenty of options outthere is you wanted a couples only environment. AND its not like you didnt know that there are gonna be single guys there.
