We got a tower room for the same price as a Garden View last December. I wouldn’t pay more than $15 to upgrade...we just don’t spend enough time in the room to care. Garden View works out just fine for us.
We're paying $400 less for a Tower room than we paid for a Trendy Ocean View two years ago for a seven night stay. Kept checking Orbitz and Expedia and the rates changed almost daily.
maybe I'm just using my room too little as a single. I always live in a garden room. Because it's not many hours I'm in there. So for me it is better with a slightly cheaper room.
