And a damp towel will be extra weight going home, your bag will already be heavier with the damp clothes from the humidity
Forever is right. Sometimes mine will just sit on the chair so will just take it up to bring down in the morning. Said towel be already damper than the day before. lol I find t-shirts the best way to mark your chair. Some of the Addicts have name bands for their chairs.
A couple of days in September I was a hot mess by towel turn-in time and totally forgot to return my towel. Hell, I was lucky I remembered where my room was. Left the towel on the chair (or at least I assume so...I don't think I knew where my chair was by that point in the evening). Happy to report I never got a bill!
At the Sexy Pool, after 8 hours of drinking, people are too drunk and too happy to "steal" a towel. Some are incapable of even recognizing the spouse they arrived with and return to their room with the incorrect guy or girl (don't laugh...it could happen to you). Most often, someone just grabs a towel they think is theirs, merely the result of a drunken error. Explain this to the towel shack attendent politely and you should be ok.
