Ya don't take towels, no need like Donald said if don' turn them at the end of your pool day, you just go to the front desk in the morning and they rip up the ticket. And the shirt thing works great, had my chairs dressed in the same shirts all week, made them easy to find, not that I actually sat in it much. Oh ya, you got to get up early if you want a chair. 7:00 am is late from what I saw.
Speaking of towels , it seemed like there were quite a lot of empty chairs at 6:30 in the morning this week. At about 6 or so they gather up any shirts towels etc on the chairs and turn them to front desk or lost and found I believe so everyone starts out with a level playing field in the morning. Not sure how they handle someone sleeping on a chair all night or most of the night.
The last time I was there (March '10) the staff was removing towels from chairs that were unoccupied for more than a couple of hours. I must have been away for too long, because my towel disappeared. (as did a shirt, which I never got back..) but the towel guy knew that some people had them taken, so he gave me one without question.
Heather was inspired to make these for keeping our places by the sexy pool - just need to set the alarm for 6.30am now!!!
Jim you have to be careful and not go to bed too early or else they would pick up your stuff and put it at the front desk. Did not seem to be a problem for you a couple of mornings however.
We just got back and we have always taken our own towels with us and have put them out around 530 am. We had a room down by the volleyball court and my wife past the security guard at 530 am and said hi to him, and went to put her towels down and went back to our room again past him only to find out that he took the towels off the chairs and took them to the front desk. This was our 11th trip to temptations and was never a problem before. He could of told her that we are now not able to put them down before 6am instead of just watching and than taking them off.
In Dec/Jan it was the same, At 6 am they clear off all the chairs which is good. To many selfish people party till 3 am..., then go to the pool and put their towels on a chair, then don't return till 3 pm. I,m an early riser and seen many a towel on a chair, not seeing a butt till 2,3,or even 4. A 6 am clean, up helps this. Just put your towels at 6 am, go have coffee,a little morning snugal then breakfast then chair time by 9 Am. Com'on people.
