    im reachin this week friday aug 24th and wanted to kno if there are
    any ppl in cancun, like tourist, is this shit gunna b packed or a ghost town are there alotta flights commin in wit allota ppl
    reply asap im leavin tommaro :-|

    agreed. not to mention the hurricane passing to the south scared a number of tourists who changed their vacation plans for this week. should still be a good time over the weekend, which is usually more hoppin' than the rest of the week.

    I know BBG had only 140 guests yesterday but that number is expected to go up this weekend.

    I think low occupancy this week is definitely a result (in part) of people cancelling their trips this week because of Hurricane Dean.

    I know BBG had quite a few people who were scheduled to arrive all this week cancel meaning that they'll be slow for about a week until next week's guests show up.

    If you're leaving tomorrow then it's probably too late to change your destination.

    And there's no reason to. This time of year is not Cancun's busiest but even with people cancelling for fear of hurricane damage, it's not going to be a ghost town either.

    Just go and have fun...don't worry about how many other people are there...just meet those that are and enjoy your vacation.
