Wow! I know just where that tornado was. The apartment I had in Cancun is off Kabah, but it is down closer to Coba. I was in that exact area a few times, though. There's a Pemex near there and a McDonalds.
There was another tornado the week before just south of Playa. Husband was shown photos of the damage caused and said it devastated some areas. Weather is freaky and we are coming into that season. Tracey x
The one at Playa was a Turbonada, not the same as a Tornado. Also tornados are usual at open sea near Cancun, it is the first timedownotwon or living zones that is happens,
