We were there in March and can confirm, no bare boobs when your in the water, interested to hear how the pasties fair!
I found a video from AM Resorts from early 2019 (maybe even late last year) that talked about changes for Breathless to help rebrand. I figured he was talking about the toplessness, since not much else really changed. So that makes two things I have heard: 1. Too may guys getting handsy in the pools and they shut it down or 2. Were they rebranding for another reason? Or was this the reason? I get that no female wants or should be touched without permission, but why shut down the fun instead of just kicking the offenders out or having them arrested? Put it in the "code of conduct" policy that we all have to sign at check-in. Have a zero tolerance policy on it. If it was simply rebranding, what were they rebranding away from? Honestly, I saw Breathless as a good middle-ground option for us and getting my wife ok with toplessness. We felt Temptation may be too much (at the time, maybe not now), but now Breathless is not a good option.
It is what it is. Sadly there are cameras for security, so poor gents working at the pool have to enforce it or they get in trouble. buy a sheer when wet top or mega mesh from wicked weasel or Malibu strings. Then your lady can still be pretty much out there even when she’s in the pool. the resort is still awesome. Maybe split up your week 1/2 at Temptation to kick off your trip the. Go to breathless at the end to wind down. or if you’re traveling with friends and they aren’t big exhibitionist type people take the to breathless. or go Boobs Cruise or get a day pass to Temptation or Desire next door.
Topless out of the Pool but you must wear a top in the pool?? Makes no sense to us, what a silly rule. They claim some men get to "handsy" during the Foam Party, really? We are Desire Regulars where 95% of the people are totally naked and we have never seen or heard this happening. I guess as NkdPedro suggested........it will be mesh bikinis, micro bikinis and very small white tank tops in the Pool for us.
I could see this being somewhat true as they kept turning off the foam to let it die down during the foam party, then they’d fire it back up again. Security hovering like vultures.
Go to Desire Pearl.... clothing optional and most are nude (in pool, pool area, hot tub) but not all. It's all about what your comfort level is, but you definitely won't have to worry about where you are allowed to be topless, lol.
