    OMG

The first time for me at Bubba Gumps was in NYC with my daughter, soon after they first opened. It was fun and we went back a couple of times just for snacks and their wonderful Strawberry Lemonade.

Then after visiting BG's in Daytona Beach and Cancun I decided it was too corny, too corporate and way too interactive with the waiters who continued to come around asking trivia questions throughtout the meals.

I don't think many folks would put that on their Top 5 list. Too many wonderful places to choose from. And I am "El Rey de los Camarones."

And Bubba did not have a dog.

I agree with you T.J. We have one here in San Francisco and the whole trivia thing gets a little old after a while. After all the movie is about 13 years old.

The good thing was for me I didn't even know the chain existed until I went there so the 1st time in cancun is a good start

We went to La Habicuela last weekend, and enjoyed it very much. Great atmosphere and great food. Just a $10 cab ride each way.

Going to a downtown restaurant is definitely a change of pace from the hotel zone atmosphere.
