We totally agree. We take the ferry boat to Isla ever year and just spend the day riding around on golf carts,Looking at the scenery and taking a break for a few hours.
We went with a few other couples last time to Isla Mujeres and did a package deal....swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, and zip lines. Was really fun! Would definately recommend it. Ginger

1) Make friends here and wear an orange wrist band, say hi to anyone wearing one, say hi to anyone not wearing one. 2) Paty'o's, get involved in theme nights, wear clothing you'd never wear any other time, have a burger at some point past 2:00. It is scientifically proven they taste better then. Dance. Even if you never dance and dance like a drunken white guy with 2 left feet an no rhythm. 3) Sexy pool, make friends, bring AIWC, stay until the sun starts to go down, enjoy the games. 4) work out a schedule quickly. Ours is, up around 9 for coffee and Baileys on the balcony, head for breakfast, Sexy pool all day, snack in afternoon, nap/sex before supper, supper, Paty'o's, a bunch of stuff I barely remember and may regret if I did. 5) Leave your inhibitions, judgement and biases at home.

For us #1: Isla Mujeres take ferry 27 trip, rent a golf kart and go visit the end of the island where's a restaurant. so nice. #2: Coco Bongo #3: Boobs Cruise ( I've heard so nice thing about it, but will do it next time ) #4: snorkling ( 90 $) for both of us, driving her on boat on the carribean sea. #5: Pirate ship.. Lobster and Steak dinner on the cruise.. 180 for 2. All inclusive. ( drink and food, you will need to pay more for the lobster. ). Psiit: The ferry for the isla, is right where's the spirale thing, and where's the helicopter tour. =) Oh and at least... They have a little place don't remember where for Beer and Guacamole was like 4 $ Was SO Good. Don't try to find ANY drink in corner store, they only have beer and the beer El Sol clamato, is really spicy and we didn't like it at all. ( Beer with clamato juice ). I know at the grocery store and got some drink, or just go to walmart, they have it, before take the ferry. You Can drink on your golf kart, police officer don't care.. But be warn to not be drunk, they might arrest you and this will put you in trouble.

Hum...there's so much I like to do, but tend to keep it simple because you'll find that no matter what you do end up doing or not doing - it will be AWESOME! 1. Relax - that's what you are there for. 2. Participate - games/activities - great eddy to meet people and you'll have lifelong vacation memories. Haha..trust me! 3. Leave your inhibitions at home - you are on vacation, live a little!! 4. Make friends - on CCC and as soon as you get to the pool. 5. Remember the motto: 'Nobody knows you, nobody gives a shit!' Regardless of anyone's top 5, your vacation is what you make it. So go and enjoy every single minute of it, doing what you want to do and you'll come home like the rest of us trying to figure out how soon you can get back there! Shiela
Geez... so many others have said great stuff... Our top 5: 1- You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning- mimosas at breakfast are wonderful which leads directly to #2... 2- three words- (especially if you want to do #1): PACE YOUR SELF! 3- Get involved in at least one of the daytime sexy pool games. We've had a blast doing things we either volunteered for or were voluntold to do, lol. 4- Get to know the bartenders and entertainment staff and treat them well... a little $ goes a long way! 5- Above all, don't sweat the small stuff... Don't let little annoyances ruin the day or the week... Ken and Joyce
