And there's something nice about the word "liquor", at least there is when you say it with an English accent..:liebe011: :daisy:
There's no doubt about that but when you have those "drinking for 12 hours" days... beer is my choice for staying somewhat coherent!
Why thank you! I have to say I learnt quite a few sayings from you Americans too Also wanted to say the knob jocks from the plane were indeed staying at TTR, thankfully nowhere near our room, and whilst I'm from the UK and know how to handle these kind of people, I was extremely embarrassed at times that they were from the UK :-/ It is cheaper then going to Europe on a boozy holiday though, certainly at this time of year so there is no wonder, when we aren't guaranteed the sun in the Med, that there are many young groups here. I don't believe it's anything to do with spring break as we don't have one! There were many groups of guys though, from UK, US & Canada and they never caused a problem to anyone as far as I'm aware, and I certainly never saw any behaviour that would stop someone from going to the toilet on their own!! I also think there were many groups of girls, but they don't stand out nearly as much as the boys with their 'pack mentality'!!! Without these younger singles the atmosphere and the daytime games wouldn't have been as much fun so I think it's a good thing, although every group is different I know. If I'm being honest, we were pounced on by a couple on our first night (we aren't into that at all, and if we were, any chance of it left us that night!!!!!!!) and they never stopped stalking us the whole time which left us uncomfortable the whole time. Luckily, we are party animals, we made some amazing friends and it hasn't put us off returning but it's a shame these predatory people behave in this way and that I didn't let the hubbie be rude and tell them were to go!! Just goes to show, we can all experience bad times with all kinds of different types of people
The other alternative is me passing out.... what if someone takes advantage of me!? :icon_eek: oh wait..... :wink3:
