Start a we love single men thread then. Everyone is entitled to book a trip as you say and everyone is entiltled to an opinion which is exactly what everyones sharing. Just because you don't agree with what people are saying doesn't give you the right to call everyones view crap. Jog onto a different thread and have a go at people who give a shit.
My wife and myself got back last night from a 13 day stay, our 1st time. You have to learn the ropes pretty quick at this resort. If you are an attractive woman you will be chased constantly whether you want to be or not and no does not mean NO here either, as the same guys ask over and over again. After 3-4 days it got to the stage where i could not leave my wife alone at any time after one guy who had asked to sleep with her three times over the two previous evenings and asked me as well, then made a further approach to her outside the breakfast area in the morning. This place has many predators, some who you would not spot as such and wait for there chance. It was a very eventfull week some good and some bad, i will do a full report when i have more time. But ladies please, its not as safe as some will lead you to believe............
It usually isn't like that. March is the worst month for too many guys n they get very desperate n aggressive
Monique have u ever been there in march when its a 10-1 guy to girl ratio? Where u don't even feel safe going to the washroom by yourself? I have n girls were more upset by it then us normal guys.
i havent been to TTR during this time. but i know it would be a kill joy!! i wouldnt call it just single guys, but immiturity!! its like when our friends show up camping where we are and one of thiere kids bring a bunch of thiere friends!! holy crap was it so tempting to just leave!!! good thing they left early that next morning!! but the mess they left, and the obnoxious behavior, and stupid dumkeness bull crap that kept me awake listening too!!!! i mean you show back to camp after a great 4 wheel ride and they are slopping up our camp!! sitting in our chairs!! and dont get out when we get back!!! garbage everywhere, when we left it was clean!!! our kids arent perfect but i gaurantee they wouldnt have done that or thiere friends!!! music may have gotten out of control at times, but alot comes from respect!! and alot of people dont teach that at home anymore!!! and a good swift kick in the ass when needed is sorely lacking these days!! so if march is like that at TTR. im sure i will never book!!! just a sure way to ruin a good vac.
sorry about your experience but we were there at the end of February and honestly the crowd wasn't much better... except it appeared the married guys were just as bad....no shoes and big uncovered beer bellies in the restaurant and wife beaters at night.....pretty gross. The guys who think whistling and yelping in hallways is great fun are particularily nice to be around! But, we've been to TTR 8 times and this was really the first time the crowd was so bad.
I have always felt safe at TTR though travelling solo (apart from one incident being cornered in the unisex part of the Paty-O's washroom), but I would NOT go to the resort in March because I am aware of the high number of single men. I hope you will consider going back during a different month, Stevee, as unfortunately March is not a good month for forming first impressions of TTR.
I hope this isnt the case when I get there next month because it just dont sound like a vacation just a pain in my ass to have to watch out for guys that cant take NO for a answer the whole time..I booked TTR to get away from the typical college kids spring break
Thankyou for the replies. These were mid 20s to 30s guys, Not the young crowd. Does anyone think with major travel companies (cosmos, thomas cook etc..) selling this resort in a mainstream way, Its attracting a large number of undesirable or unsuitable people ??????
