Not JUST Brits, but beware...times we've been we've met more obnoxious Brits than nice ones. Even some couples have been rude. Some Brits we've met have been lovely, courteous, talkative, and even intriguing, but some were just plain rude. You'd think being from the same country we'd all stick together, but some people are just plain obnoxious. That being said, met some lovely Brits, some on our first trip from Donington, that decided it wasn't for them and didn't return - but still had a nice time talking to them all the same, others on our second trip from Stoke and Scotland that I'm sure are repeaters.
Katie has been a school teacher so long, that she just walks up to the offending youngster and asks "may I have your phone number, I need to call you mother!!! If my son were acting the way YOU are, I hope someone would call me".

Just returned from TTR and the BEST vacation my wife and I have ever had. But the only issue is like many are posting here the spring breaker group from UK. One night dancing at Patyo's and one totally inebriated lad places hands in wife's face. I gave him the move along wave and it turns into a stare down. Luckily wife grabs me and we move to other side of floor as no one really wants a incident to spoil a great vacation. Maybe we could place them in the dance cages when misbehaving!!!
I was grabbed from behind by a guy last night in the public washroom. He wasn't from the UK, but it doesn't matter where these guys are from. We complained to the hotel regarding this sausage festival. They responded by saying the guy/girl ratio is equal. It is not! They also told us to come back Nov.-Jan., when there are more couples vacationing. The people we have met from CCC have definitely made this vacation awesome though! We will have a lot of laughs over this week for years :icon_razz:
We had the weird experience of being there with a huge group of obnoxious women. There were at least 30 of them, and they'd even brought their own male dancers. They weren't disrespectful, but they were very "exclusive"--they had their half of the sexy pool and weren't really welcoming to outsiders. Because there were so many, it changed the entire vibe of the place while they were there. When they left, everyone sort of breathed a sigh of relief and let loose. I don't think singles are a problem at all. The problem is that "wolf pack" mentality where one group gets "powerful" enough to set the tone. And the problem with the young'uns is that they're judgmental. TTR is the only place I'd ever tart myself up and prance around half naked. I know I'm no spring chicken, but most TTR fans are totally okay with that. You get a pack of young drunk guys trying to out Jersey-Shore each other, though, and you'd better bet I'm not going to open myself up to their commentary or the assumptions they make that if you dress sexy, you're "asking" for it. Also, I think it was Neil who hit it on the head last year: you get a bunch of guys with all that testosterone built up, and at the end of the night, it's gotta go somewhere. If they can't get laid, they're going to fight.
I was there the year the good girls gone bad took over. It was definitely a different TTR experience. They even took over nice shoes some nights. I spoke to one of the girls and she said they wouldn't be returning to TTR again, she said the resort was too small and not accommodating to them. Fine by me!!!
That was the same group! We were there together, then! And we didn't even dance in Nice Shoes until after they left. They kind of took over the whole resort. Individually, they were really nice. Together...very cliquey.
