Riu CAribe I would say is the nicest of those hotels you listed.

I stayed at the Tucancun twice already, nice hotel good food and great entertainment staff. The Gran caribe Real is a good spring break hotel.

 

I am starting to Have doubts about the Gran Caribe, I have been speaking to my travel agent, my alternative options are Tucancun, Riu Caribe, Moon Palace and Crown Paradise. Tucancun is the only hotel in a location I would consider. What would you recommend GCR or Tucancun?

 

I thought the Gran caribe was Spring Hotel no Dennis??

 

He said it is tame. My travel agent contacted me because sinnce Hurricane Dean the Beach is practically non-existant. This time tomorrow I think I will have changed to the Tucancun. It is quite a good location not to far from oasis and the nightlife. The reviews see mostly positive and it seems the food gets better reviews than the GCR.

 

How about staying in downtown cancun? Maybe you can meet some real latinas out there
