We take football tops for some of the staff and we have had pizza sent in of the paty '0s staff . We always tip the maids they do a really good job of keep the room clean and tidy
Not just sports caps. 1 of the guys on the Boobs Cruise fell in love with my Big Ass Fans advertising hat I wore. I wasn't getting off the boat with that 1. Thought I'd be able to get another free 1, but no! Had to pay $15 for a new 1 for this trip. I look at it this way, for the service he gave us in that horrible weather an extra $7.50 tip was well worth every penny.artytime:
You can be much more original, to spend more time and order custom T-shirts or caps, or both online with logo of TTR and any text like : " BEST WAITER OF TTR", same for bartender and cleaning lady..Be creative :ernaehrung015:
Mexico is way different than the Dominican. The first trip to the DR I was shocked by what I saw and what the people I went with were taking. We gave away used baseball equipment, school supplies and threw candy out the bus windows like we were in a parade. It was crazy to me but the norm over there I guess. At TTR and other places we have stayed we tip well, it's amazing how a little $ with a smile and a handshake and thank you go a long ways.
That's a really good idea, the food they give to the staff is lousy. We have sometimes snuck them a couple of plates from the buffet that they have to eat out of sight.
We used to bring the Kevlar coated work gloves to the gardeners when the Cabo TTR was open, they could'nt get them in that area at the time. They would still be using them when we went on our next trip.
