A big "Well said" to JT. This will be my first trip as a single woman and I gotta say, it's the single men I'm going for... (well, in addition to educating my friend Jen to how fun TTR can be) Yes, there are swinger couples, but if I'm gonna be flirting and having fun, I'm looking for simple and unattached. If it is a swinger couple you are looking for, it would be a good idea to make sure you are friendly with BOTH halves before breaching that often delicate of subjects... But pretty much all other advise is the same: Have fun, be yourself, hold your liquor, no means no, and don't expect to get laid every time you blink and you'll have a blast.
Just be respectful. On our last trip I met a handsome young guy from Canada and he was very polite. At each step of the way (dancing, kissing, etc.) He would go to my husband and ask "Are you OK with this?" His attitude paid off for him (and me) big time. Lots of guys are OK with single guys hitting on their wives and maybe much more (mine for one) as long as you are are cordial to both. Be a jerk to either one and you'll be sleeping alone!
the posts above provide good info. i've been to BBG and now TTR 7-8 times, mostly as as a couple, but also as single. i have two points to add. 1) get to know the CCC people. get an orange CCC band before you arrive or once you get there. it's an easy ice breaker. 2) get to know the entertainment staff. they can help you have the an awesome experience.
