I am good with anyone talking to (the outgoing) Kitty- she can handle herself. Being 6'1" and 225# I am not a little guy, but he should be more afraid of her than me if he oversteps. That said... I would still refer you back to #5 as I have listed above. You can talk, but the door to our bed goes through both of us- and no, not like that- no male/male lovin for us. I agree with most of the posts just be a nice guy. Last time I met a great guy super friendly wasn't pushy and we remained friends...then again I also had a guy threaten to hit me because he was being an idiot and so I wasn't giving him the attention he thought he deserved...so that being said know how to hold your liquor and be genuinely nice and if she says no then oh well and move on. Respect goes a long way!!
OK bud I saw a couple of meh comments and just decided to not read anymore and offer my 2 cents.. so sorry if I repeat something someone else already said. I went down with two buddies last September (not the guys in my avatar). I read this board up and down... I made few decisions based on what I read, but most was common sense... e.g. the Boobs Cruise was encouraged by so many, but I declined as not wanting to look like 3 single guys gawking at couples with their tops off... no matter how appropriate we could act, it'd be in the back of someone's mind-- should I care? probably not-- is it worth it to me? not at all. Saves a bit of discomfort for anyone that may have had it. That being said, I'm sure it's a blast and I'm missing out in a lot of ways.. but there is so much to do and so many people to meet at TTR, time is easily filled! People are pretty receptive to single guys, unless, like most have said, you act obnoxious. There were a lot of Australian cats that were down there at the same time as us. They were loud as all hell. Lots of howling, lots of interrupting, lots of the "this is my place, I'll do what I want" attitude. I've been around this my entire life. I don't mind it myself, and wouldn't mind it if other's didn't... but everyone should be considerate of everyone else that is there.. and there are ways of having fun and doing just that. Even if it doesn't bother me directly, the fact that I look around and see people irritated on their vacation does. As far as ladies go. There is success to be had all over. Keep in mind the people that post here are just a small fraction of those that will be there. I'd venture to say most people don't book a hotel and immediately go searching for a website to meet people before they get there.. I know TTR is different.. but in general... especially girls you're probably looking for are probably not. Definitely go to the clubs. It's impossible not to mingle. I replied to someones post about the clubs with my foggy experience at two of them. Short summaries but worth the read I'd say, if nothing more than to get you excited Basically.. the atmosphere at TTR is as great as it gets.. you'll have a blast at the clubs if you go with the tour.. it'll be hard to have a bad time. Once I got to TTR... I don't think I stopped smiling until I got to the CUN airport for my flight back-- remedied with a beer at the bar.
