tipping is part of the deal. if you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to go. and if you simply don't tip, you will get sh*tty service if any at all. but if someone refuses to give you service until a tip is produced, or points at the tip jar, etc... then you just go somewhere else.
summed up in one sentence, although if your getting a table for example then deffo tip the waiter beforehand, if it's just a free bar then tip once have got your 1st drink, tip fairly well though because that way you will be remembered. I remember last year, i tipped a waiter quite well when he gave me my 1st drink, after that whenever he saw me coming to the bar her got my drinks prepaired before i even got there and if he was busy he got one of his work mates to do it. Considering most of the clubs are rammo out there to get a decent and quick bar service TIP AWAY.
i tried to tell my pals this last year, none of em took a blind bit of notice to what i said.....aaaaand the tipping begun haha
I can't stand tight ass people who don't even want to give a $ tip. That is 5o- 60p That is like a kit kat, not even the chunky one. LOL
I'd rather have $5 in my wallet than in someone else's for carrying my bag 5 yards to the coach. You have to draw the line at tipping for good/ anticipated service and just plain and simply been ripped off. Ian
True, but I am not talking about luggage, if people don't want to pay, simply use the arms that you were given. I am talking about in the bars.
VERY true ian!! If I get good service or a service I expect to get, I will tip where need be. I refuse to tip every drink especially when I am staying at an ALL INCLUSIVE resort! I will tip here and there, especially when they are working hard, but not every drink.
