Love Starbucks and Caribou(our local state shop). Gotta say though for making your own at home TH has it! We don't have a Timmies here but did manage to trade up with some kind-hearted Canadians for a few cans. We had the AIWC and they had a surplus of canned Timmies. Brought a few cans back home and tried it out, wow! had some going for a party and people were frickin addicted wanting to know where they can get it. Might just have to look into that franchise thing here too.
I'm really curious how far west do you find a Tim Horton's. I know they are in Michigan, but are they west of Ontario or west of Michigan?
Been having one every day out here on Vancouver Island for the past 7 weeks. That's about as far west as Canada will take you. Most recently at the Victoria airport this morning. And I can tell you with certainty that they are in every city between here and Edmonton having driven it plenty.
Let's put it this way, and not exagerating here. There are more Tim Horton's in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan than there are McDonalds. Also good luck getting through a drive thru during peak hours if you just want a coffee.
Last year I brought 20 large Tim Hortons coffee cups to enjoy my morning coffee while at Temptations, you can only imagine the looks I got from everyone, you can tell who's Canadian when they see a Timmies cup in Mexico. Told one guy there is a location across the street from Cocobongos and he went looking for it! came back a few hours later and realized I was only shitting him lol
Dos, I haven't been in Western Canada in a quite a few years and I didn't know that Timmies was big out your way. Here we have a logical connection with the hockey because he played for both the Leafs and Sabres, but didn't realize you guys in the Rockies had our favorite morning stop.
Personally love my Keurig...but if I'm out it will be a Starbucks Timmy's coffee is too weak..not the same as it used to be.
