OMG. THAT IS SO TRUE. Over the 12 years that we have been going. The one thing that several of the bartenders have told us is that being called by their name is really important to them. Those couple of little things will make your holiday so \much more enjoyable. And you will actually get a chance to know these guys so much better.
I totally disagree,,, If a Time share resort wants to open its doors to the general public to line its purses, it should treat those guest with the appropriate conduct and offer them the full amenities of the resort. This would show the potential clients what the resort has to offer. The way it goes about it now just creates bad feelings and confusion. Share holders should get better rates and that's all.
Then what would the members who have already invested get. NOTHING. Believe me when I tell you that we have always been able to get better rates thru a package deal or atleast with in a few dollars but the reason that we continue to use our membership is the few perks that we do get. And again, believe me, we really only get minor perks. as for the service, no matter how you get to Temptations you are going to get the same great service as everyone else. Members or not
I have no qualms with timeshare holders getting perks. Most I'm not that bothered about. The only one I'd like to change is the big section of beach standard guests can't use. Both times we've visited, this area was 85% empty all the time. I like to use the beach on occasion (ok when I'm hungover!) and it'd be great if they let up a bit and gave a bit more room over to everyone so I don't have to sit right by the dock!
I agree with you Trish. Most of the time the premier members are really hanging around the pool with the "normal" (haha) people anyway. They really do give them way to much room on the beach especially when the crew comes out to play games on the beach and makes everybody move...not cool.
Ya I think that sucks too. There's really no need for such a big area. When they first started that the area was on the other side of the towel hut and seemed just fine, but even then it really didn't get used that much. In fact, that's one of those perks that we've never used (along with the area above the bathrooms). This is actually a topic that I could understand people getting irritated about.
We were not Premier members and didn't see any difference at all. I think they had some reserved seats by the pool. I think they wore the white wristbands, What did we know !!! We were so drunk we assumed all the orange wirstbands means that you were a swinger. Didn't have a clue what the white means. A "little" knowledge is a very dangerous thing.
Going down for our 1st trip nov 29/2013. Will u guys be there? We (Deb & I) r from Pittsburgh. fflashh
