Yes. It is in their interest to go forward with the discounts and free offerings, it makes it for a better experience for you.

We got our membership in April. We've booked for August 12-17 and Oct 1-7. I've already saved more than a couple grand just off of those two trips. Well, prepaid, but the money will balance out to neutral in about 2.5 to 3 years, and then we'll have another ~20 years of the discounted rate. If you can swing it, the new deal is a good one, especially with the RCI weeks.

    Yeah, what he said ^.

We bought in May and it took us 2 hours including all the paperwork. We got a good deal we feel and from talking to others it is much different than in the past. If you are not interested, just say no.

We ended up going with the 5 year plan, it was very affordable and worked with our current situation. In doing the math, the plan will pay for itself on our third trip, not to mention all the perks we get while being a premier member. Lobster dinner, special menu items in all restaurants, upgraded premium drinks, our own bar staff that finds us and a private area on the beach. Ayisha the pretty hispanic girl was fantastic!!

Hate to be the business guy on this, but if you have no intent on buying the timeshare, then why don't you calculate the cost of being at the resort against the time spent and see if it is worth your time.

    Hint: It's not.

    Here was my calcuation:

Money spent to be there: 2200

    Time there being awake - 16 hours x 7 days = 112 hours

Time Value per hour: $20 per hour

3 hours I could spend otherwise? Monetary value: $60. Opportunity value: Priceless

Therefore, I have never gone on the time share preso. I would consider buying one if I had the money, but I have kids in college.

there cost, for the same, was more, ( wouldnt elaborate for me, just said they paid more, + membership fee's, ) but apparently, its worth it for the perks, so i'm told.LOL.

Being members we pay $15.00 a day,per person in the off season, May to October, plus a $84.00 dollar fee. That comes to $294.00 for 7 nights, plus our flights. Peak season would be $30.00 a person.

We did it the first time we went to TTR. The only time the sun came out was from 8-10 am while we were sitting in the office. Never again

My $2200 was all in cost for flights and resort fees. We were on a member program - something like $104 PP/PN for the resort fee plus all inclusive fee.

This seems like a reasonable deal, what does it cost for this program?
    Thanks,
    Paul

There are no maintenance or annual fees except if you use the RCA points which can be included, We payed around $6,000.00. There are different levels depending on how many weeks you want.
