So true, you can't buy if you don't go to the breakfast presentation. We said no last time but they were very aggressive. Offering a free massage first. Said no to that and they offered $200 to attend with no "pressure". We still said no and asked that they don't call again. They finally quit buggin us on the 3rd day. I'd love to read the training document if you ever find it again!
We just never show up when they schedule the time. We tell them we aren't interested, but they drop notes under your door, etc. saying you have an appt. for certain time. We don't call, we don't go. If you want or need us, we are at the pool :sunny:
When you check in, they usually ask is this your first time to the resort..you say no. Then they tell you to go to the desk at the side, just don't go there and that is the end. Have the bellman take your bags to your room.. I've never had them call me or anything else past the first check-in.
Our travel agent told us upon arrival to Cancun airport proceed to pick up your luggage at the belts. Be aware that you might be approached by different people claiming to be the transfer company to take you, or offering discounted transfer services. So, please have your coupon handy and do not show it to any of these people. After retrieving your luggage walk OUTSIDE the terminal and look for the “Transbeach” personnel wearing Blue Shirt holding the Travel SDC logo
Thanks for the tips everyone. For us newbies, it's great to know what to expect. I know the time share people can smell fresh meat a mile away! lol
