Conservative couple, we visited Cabo 4 years ago. Wife has never been topless..ever... 20 minutes at the pool and her top was off. She didn't care. The entire trip she was topless at the pool. Try ebay. I got a bunch of NEW thong bathing suits for less than $15 each. I wasn't willing to pay a lot for a piece of string that I was going to wear without the top, but $15 isn't bad.

our first trip I didnt take my top off until the third day (I didnt feel out of place either way).. I needed a warming up process for me to feel comfortable (I'm really shy just no one knows it but Tony lol).. I personally wear the scrunch bottoms.. I'm not a thong kinda girl but you will definitely see a few.. Some people wear their tops the whole trip however most are topless..
