Oh ok tht doesn't sound so bad. How does the dining work at TR? I'm traveling by myself so is it something out of the ordinary to see people eating by themselves?
looks like you've been adopted by the chaos crew already... you can't do better than jessie and bambers. meet people beforehand on the threads and i'm sure you won't be eating alone. we've been 3 times and i really don't remember seeing anyone eating alone. it's too friendly a place. as for the clubs, we've never been. way too much fun to be had at TTR day & nite. and mo is right.... don't miss steves' :flash: cruise. ya highly doubt you will be eating alone as almost everyone at TTR is super friendly..and if you do end up eating alone for some odd reason..no biggie
No, you eat with us I sometimes ate breakfast alone as I was up before most of the crew. Other times I just sat down with someone already there eating alone. I never ate dinner alone even one time as there was always someone to go eat with. A few times a couple of us asked people behind us in the lineup at the Mexican lunch place to join us for lunch. Saves them from waiting for a table and we meet new people. :aktion033: Traveling alone is fun.
just wanted to pick everyone's brain again. I guess it depends on how much you plan on doing outside the resort. But with maybe taking a tour one day and heading to a couple of nightclubs during the course of my stay how much money do people usually blow through during their stay. I keep looking up trips and Im almost ready to book a trip to TR but the prices keep going up every day so I wanna make sure I can still do what I want with my spending money and afford to get down there.
The Temptation staff arranges transportation out to a local party place every night usually leaving at 11pm ish. If you pay a flat fee, you get admission into club, ride there, free drinks and vip entry. You have to get a way back but that usually is only a few dollar taxi ride or a couple dollar bus ride (not sure times buses stop). They are nice party places to but cost is about $40-$60. We could never stay up late enough to START OUT at 11pm though so we never did it. You must pace yourself!
Book on a tues night and try to book your trip from tues to tues. Go on Bookit.com. Day trips are great but we never left the resort. It was to much fun. Day trip to chichenitza and long day trips are about $100 for the day and shorter trips are about 60-75pp.

You wont ever eat alone just look for us at Pattyos especially Sue or Jesse..Zurc...we shall take you on the wing and you will have fun...Promise!!:lurking:
