have never needed bug repellent and i think anywhere you go they provide snorkel equipment for like 2 bucks or something nominal. so i wouldnt bother packing it

bring an iron.

bring large insulated drinking cups (easier than the little 8oz ones you'll get at your pool bar)

bring aloe/skin lotion/sun block. you have no idea how expensive this stuff can get in Cancun

bring a camera that takes video. there are times when you just want to take it all in.

do not overpack. it's the freakin beach, and nothing is formal.

bring a sense of adventure.. go downtown (not party zone), try local foods, go to the island and on the tours, say hello to strangers at your hotel. you'll be surprised at how quickly you will become friends with strangers.

if you are cute and female, bring a piece of paper with my dates and hotel. I'll be at the CC party, and the Oasis meet-up.

 

no I mean a bikini if your a girl or swim shorts if your a guy.....hahaha...you cant live without those
