Things you had to explain when you got home from Temptation

It is definitely nice not to have your job depend on what you do on vacation. Sometimes it's good just being a couple of peons! The worst that could happen to us, even if some of the many photos out there turned up, is we'd have red faces, get laughed at a bit, and that'd be the end of it. And deep down, a lot of other people would wish they could go on vacation and really let loose like we do!:flash:

 

Ok before i share my story let first declare that i am an idiot! It will make sense once u hear the story. i have the girft of drinking a bottled beer in 3 seconds or less. So first nite in Cancun 5 years ago my buddy n i are chatting w 2 hot girls at a bar n my buddy says"hey Dan show her ur 3 sec beer", and i did. She's like, "wow that was amazing", i'm like oh ya watch this break the empty bottle on my forehead! So the paramedics so show up(seriously they did, iwas bleeding profusely). Every year i go to that little bar(Congos) and they always remember me doing that. Try to explain that scar on ur forehead once u get home, or even everyday at the pool on the resort. Told ya, IDIOT!

Let me save you some stiches. You can knock the bottom out of a beer bottle with just your hands. Have it full of liquid until just the neck is empty. Hold it very firmly at the neck in one hand and hit it with the other. The strike is critical. It should be down and flat with the heal of your palm. The objective is an sharp overpressure of air in the neck. The bottom blows right out. If you hit it and it does not break I don't recommend hitting the same bottle twice. Its a good party trick, it works with all bottles up until you try a "handel" of booze. Don't bother, it can't be done.

We tried the phone book thing at work...it does work if done right...unfortunately the guys did it with all our new phone books, not the old ones. D'OH!!!!

I saw a guy a few years back try the beer bottle/forehead thing...left in ambulance. Almost all of the people in spitting distance had blood spatters on them. Not only did this guy cut himself he actually broke his skull. D'OH!!!

If you get the phone book thing figured out you can win alot of money from drunk people. I tore up every phonebook in the office the day I figured it out:icon_biggrin: Its a physics problem not a strength problem, just like knocking out the bottom of the bottle.
