It's actually illegal to kill a praying mantis in CT, its the state insect....
and if you don't know, now you know...
don't think I've actually ever seen one here....prob why its illegal to kill one
true story, i saw one when i was a kid and i smashed that sucka in my neighbors yards, and my friends mom screamed at me. then i smoked it
Sometimes they are brown because of the tinny orange hair on them. Or in Cancun's case, they are brown simply because they are malnutritioned and really shitty. Not all praying mantis are the same.
