I'll say this about TTR--your experience is what you make it. The majority of people that go there are very open minded , chill and different people are up for different things. Its no Hedonism...most of the time; but things do happen. It really just depends on who you happen to link up with. I think our biggest misconception going in was that there wouldn't be much of an age range, that an older crowd would be more heavily represented. However we were glad to see there was a solid mix of ages and people of varying ages were cool to hang out. We hung out with people our age, more middle age people and older people and had a great time with all of them.
Well we may have experienced something different than most. We have a 25 year age difference. The first time we came to TTR in 2003 (then known as Blue Bay Getaway) we were newly weds, she was 19 I was 44. We worried about being judged for our age difference...but as most everyone has found out, there's no harsh judgement of people at TTR. We've been back 9 times in the last 14 years...each year better than the last! Jeff n Jill
