Similar happened to me. Met a very special girl in Pompano Beach when I was 14. Her family stayed at the same place. We exchanged addresses and wrote back and forth......then saw her again the next summer at the same place. I was smitten. That summer we exchanged saliva! LOL and kept writing over the next year........then the following summer her family was at the resort the week before my family was. I was heart broken.....truly heart broken. LOL. And from there the letters slowed down but continued a couple times a year.....with a few calls back and forth. She was a year older than me and I lost contact with her when she went to the University of Kentucky. Her name is Gayle Moser and she was from Louisville, KY. I've searched for her for the last 25 years. No luck. My first real crush!
