We have always dressed a little nicer for dinner and then changed before the party! I guess it depends how daring your outfits are.

The wife and I always dress up for dinner and then get into outfits after. The romance is at dinner...the crazy is later;)

I have seen women in see thru tops and scanty dresses at dinner. Probably depends on which restaurant and your comfort level. Except for lingerie night, my wife just dressed in what she was going to wear at Paty'Os. We didn't have a problem but we also didn't go to the fancy restaurants or was topless either.

Yes, definitely bring different dresses to wear for dinner and then head back to your room and change into your theme night costume or to put on something way sexier for Paty O's. Everyone is covered up for dinner so guys should wear something like nice light dress pants, closed toe shoes, and a nice shirt. Most of the women wear a dressy but still sexy dress...generally something you would feel comfortable wearing in any public restaurant or club back home on a night you're feeling frisky...
The restaurants have a wonderfully romantic and quiet atmosphere, so it's the one place NOT to be naked and loud and in party mode.
After dinner, go back to your room, take your time to freshen up and get ready for Paty O's. The party goes on all night so no need to rush there. That's where you can go crazy with your outfits and then it's serious party time!

And as said above, dinner time is the PERFECT time to get pics of yourselves to post on Facebook or Instagram, or to show your friends and family back home later. A lot of the food is worthy of pics too. This also reiterates the importance of dressing appropriately for reservation only restaurants.
The sexy pool is all done for the day, no one is really at the beach anymore, and everyone you run into is generally fully dressed and dressed nicely, so don't be afraid to ask anyone you see to take your picture for you and then offer to do the same for them. There are some great backgrounds near the quiet pool and sports pool as well as outside the fancier restaurants, and the lighting is best around dinner time. It's easy to get great pics at this time with absolutely no one in your background, which makes everyone happy.
