Honestly, I thought their regular coffee at breakfast was horrible - really bitter and no amount of sugar would take that awful taste away. It was utterly undrinkable for me. I live in Seattle where people are super serious about good coffee That being said, I am not the type who can drink it black, and I prefer flavored coffee. If you are picky about coffee, just bring your own and make it in the room. If you like flavored creamer, bring the powdered version - or go to WalMart and buy the liquid creamer when you get there. You can order toast and other breads to be delivered to your room the night before, and enjoy the coffee you like on your balcony before leaving your room in the morning. The coffee pot is small, but you can make more batches - just like a Keurig at home - but don't misunderstand, the coffee maker in the room is not the single cup kind, it is a mini normal one that uses a paper filter. But I heard many people talking about the coffee, and didn't hear anyone compliment it at all - heard tons of "yuck" comments! Some people are not that picky - but I'm more like Quentin Terantino in Pulp Fiction during the Bonnie Situation part - I like the gourmet shit - and when I get served great coffee I react much like Harvey Keitel when he took a sip
The coffee at the buffet was hit and miss during our stay, I guess it depends like any where else if your getting a fresh pot or the bottom. For the most part we liked the coffee, it wasn't Tim Horten's but it was good. We didn't use the coffee maker in the room, to much hassle as the buffet was only 30 seconds away from our room.
