Steve, I am glad you brought this particular subject up. We observed this particular group of 45 young men, toilet paper the resort, have running commentary on all the womens bodies as they strolled by (none of it good), throw a young lady in our group over a table (breaking a rib) because she said "thank you for ruining a good time for all of us", they then continued to have fights by the pool, on the beach and in their rooms. The repair teams were called to every room due to holes in the walls and broken things in the rooms. They were observed slipping things in womens drinks and grabbing inappropriately as well. Some of the women told me they were afraid to go to the bathroom by the pool due to the inappropriateness of these young men, which should never happen. They walked to one of the other bathrooms to avoid the "grab ass" and rude commentary. The entire vibe of the resort was tarnished by this particular group of singles. We felt we had to be on guard the entire time. A group this large (of single young men) is difficult on everyone. I do believe that they should have been asked to leave after the third incident and given no refund. I did fill out my comment card and encourage all who were there to do so as well. This resort is a good one and the people who go all the time will agree it is a fun and safe time for all typically.
Really?? Now I am worried. Apparently there are a lot of extremely mature folks here, cause if this happens when I am there I'm gonna get in trouble. Hope this doesn't happen in August, Sucks that a group can come in and ruin it for all, but I am pretty sure I would get too angry to deal with a group like this cordially (not sure if i spelled that right) haha.
I must throw in my two cents. Good point cannylad...any single male can have too much and get flirty or grabby....nature of the beast...in the seven trips I have been there only really had one jerk that went to far and twisted my wifes ( @ )( @ )'s while i was at the washroom making room for some for dos equis...a good man we met and hung with the whole trip name LEE from england was there too look out for my wife and ensure i didnt find a nice spot on the beach....I had a very quiet little chat with the gentleman and walked him back to his room before he got hurt.....alcohol does some strange things too good people....on the flipside I can see a whole slew of single guys being rowdy and a little more over the top and a concern. But the accent they carry doesnt matter its the mob of horny drunk lound guys that ruin the vibe......anyways. gonna be there in 25 days and not gonna let anything ruin my fun.....such a good crowd with the EPIC group this year and I know there is always strength in numbers. Most guys get to know me before squeezing my beautiful ladies boobs.....its all good....lifes to short ....enjoy
maybe all of the repeaters (couples and singles) should start going to cabo TTR.. but we would have to take Steve and his booze cruise and chino and his crew with us!!
hey unseabeequeen: now that is way too far for sure....my last post was to make the point that its not just brits.....but I agree they should have been given the big boot on that....I hope your vacay was not completely ruined....sorry to hear that girl got hurt....Im glad I was not there for that....I prolly would have been given the boot too....only after digging a few holes in beach for the mob....cheers james
sure sounds like this group had more than its fair share of troublemakers. It does make me think that the hotel should make sure to have a more strict policy with large group bookings. Perhaps something as simiple as adding a $100 USD per person deposit with a signed waiver stating that at the discretion of management the entire group could be thrown out of the hotel if even a few (or one) behave badly enough or cause damage. It would (for most people) ben enough for most people anyways to police your groups. That being said I would like to see how they were able to make holes in the walls as I haven't seen a wall in any of the rooms I have stayed in that isn't made of concrete!
Sorry, but we're more inclined to believe seabeequeen, it's a real shame that these lads can't act like respectable people in public.....real shame, and the worst thing is the bragging that they'll probably do once they get home, like they're some kind of hero's. We also think that the travel agency is "over selling" TTR as far as what kind of resort it is. It's behavior like this that will eventually turn TTR into a couples only resort, not good because we've met many, many great single people at BBG/TTR.
