The problem with planning too early is.......

I was there in January 2012 and 2 weeks after I was back a co-worker says a few of us want to go on vacation where you go. You always talk about how "FUN" the place is. I said Awesome when you wanting to go? She said April works for us. I immediately started booking the trip for all of us. So April it is. WTH I have vacation time so I'm coming back again. Even just a couple months wait is too long.

 

We booked early too. Can't wait for July!!! As newbies, we are learning a lot from this site. Hope to make some contacts and friends before we arrive.

 

The problem is I've become "ate up" (as my DH calls it) by checking the forum for updates and posts. :typing: I have started swimsuit shopping (which is depressing seeing those models looking perfect),:bootyshake: I go to the gym 3-4 times each week hoping that in my head I resemble one of the models, :musik001: buy sexy clothes (planning the ensembles in my head) :mermaid: and spending time on the forum when my house is messy and my work is not doing itself! cwins: In general - the problem with planning too early is that OBSESSION takes over and I can't stop daydreaming about our next trip. I even had a DREAM last night about being there! LOL!! :flash:

Jill, You are definately not alone. I am just glad my work computer does not block Cancuncare!

 

Fortunately, my work computer is my laptop. Unfortunately, I don't have direct supervision! LOL. If I did, then maybe I would spend less time on here :xyxthumbs: I don't know about you, but I am the kind of person who has to log on to facebook, here and see what's going on before I can concentrate on work. Then after about 45 minutes - hour, I can focus on the thing that is getting me to cancun - a job!

I hear ya! We're sure glad we booked when we did too... we paid around $1100 per person... checked yesterday and now it's over $3000 per person for the same week! Temptation is awesome but there's no way we'd pay 6 grand!!

We're booked November 24 to December 1....such a long wait, but ooooh the anticipation! We're newbies, so yes, we've become addicted to this board as well.
