    Why are they as they are?..
    Running around looking like SWAT-SPECIAL-SUPERFORCE with heavy machine-guns and arresting drunk tourists?..

    Well they generally dont arrest anyone unless the drunken tourists started trouble!

    yeah they can normally be pretty decent, unless you act up....it is pretty bad ass that they carry around the ak's haha

    It must be realy important to carry around those AK:s :=), war-helmets and bulletproof vests :) And just to be more safe they have to have a secondary weapon aswell :).. Where are the HE-Granades..? :)

    I think it helps maintain order. I know If had an urge to piss, but then thought theres some dude around the corner with an AK,...meeh, I think I can hold it a while. LoL!

    LOL!

    What they do for Spring Break is they need more Police for crowd control and drunken excesses so they bring in the Federales from out of town. These guys are packed to the hilt and are different to the normal Turista police you see the rest of the year.
