So i know this is a super late response but... Ive been lucky enough to come home with the "plague" 2 out of my 3 spring breaks in Cancun but this year it was baaaaad. My doctor was all nervous and weirded out because he had no clue what i had and i had all sorts of labs ran. I had like 103.6 F fever and all sorts of craziness... on a side note though: i got over it, lost the weight i gained in Cancun from all the booze, and plan on returning next year
one of friends ended up like that, we just assumed he'd drunk way too much over time but it turned out he was properly sick :shock: had to take a week or 2 off work to recover, lucky git!
So it sounds like swine flu is transmitted through contact with pigs. That makes perfect sense. I've never gotten the plague because I don't hook up with pigs. I can't say the same for some of you. :lol:
