I don't chose to be this way and it sucks , Last Oct there was no breeze through Patio's and I found myself calling it an early night most nights. Most people are good till they start drinking , and then they just forget. I tried walking around to were people were not smoking but then it would get crowded and people were literately smoking in my face. I don't say nothing cause it is after all outside. If it was invented today it'd be illegal. I don't think you can really count Paty O as outside because it's so enclosed. I'll hold my hand up as one of those conscientious smokers who did it away from others until a few drinks in and then all good intentions out the window, but I've quit now with help of vapour e-cig that's got me down to barely using nicotine at all and no more smelly antisocial cigs. Cursed habit that everyone should try and stop at least in company of non-smokers.

Just wondering if you can buy the Alcohol infused whipped cream at the store or the local minimarts in Cancun? Last time we were in Cabo it was not to be found, pretty much had to have it in your luggage from the States or Canada. Also, we might bring some Fireball which was a big hit to some that had not heard of it before although it is quite popular now.
You can buy a phone card in the store and there are no surcharges.....at least that's what I did 2 years ago and it worked out great. Much cheaper than using my cell or calling collect.

I ALWAYS get a calling card. Used to be available at the giftstore now the mini mart at the end of the parking lot. I thought you would know that Donald the seasoned vet that you are!
Learn by making mistakes , and sharing that info so others will not make the same. I never call when on vacation, this was a 1 minute call I had to make, figured how much can the charge me ?
I know, Reg got sick one year at a Riu property. I had to get in touch with our insurance to open the claim before proceeding. Murphy's law? I tried every GD payphone around the resort and none would work. As it turned out my insurance company gave me the WRONG number to call in case of emergency! Anyways, ended up calling home from the phone in the room for 10mins and it cost $400! As you say...lesson learned and to share!
